Map authority before movement
Any emerging-asset treasury workflow should make initiation, review, approval, execution, reconciliation, and reporting explicit. The first design question is who can do what, under which limit, with which evidence—not which opportunity appears most attractive.
Design for failure and recovery
Custody, counterparty exposure, transaction error, access loss, volatility, regulation, and operational mistakes need defined responses. A credible workflow includes separation of duties, allowlists, limits, logs, escalation, and recovery before it includes scale.
Make compliance part of the product
Regulatory alignment should shape the operating journey rather than arrive as a final review. When controls, evidence, and accountability are built into the workflow, innovation becomes easier to evaluate and safer to operate.
