Name the judgment
Human review is meaningful only when the reviewer knows what decision they own. Approval, correction, exception handling, and creative judgment are different jobs and need different interfaces.
Show enough evidence
A recommendation without its sources, confidence, assumptions, or policy context forces the reviewer to reconstruct the work. Good review design makes the important evidence visible at the moment of decision.
Learn from disagreement
Overrides should not disappear into free-text comments. A structured reason helps teams understand whether the issue came from data, policy, model behaviour, ambiguous criteria, or valuable local context.
